Course Description:
In addition to the independent study support offered in the original bi-weekly format, this newly expanded weekly course includes focused instructional sessions—beginning on the very first day. Each week, students will engage in targeted exercises designed to strengthen a practical and expressive approach to painting. These guided studies emphasize composition, palette control, and painterly decision-making, helping to refine visual thinking and build confidence in fluent, economical paint handling.
 
The instructor is available for technical mentoring and individual feedback from 1:00 to 4:00pm each week. Students are welcome to arrive as early as 12:00pm and may continue working independently until 5:00pm. This extended access allows time for warm-up, setup, and continued exploration of class topics at your own pace.
