Join us for an unforgettable painting workshop along the Amalfi Coast and the Island of Capri, Italy, this April 2026. Immerse yourself in one of the most breathtaking landscapes in the world—where dramatic cliffs, luminous seas, and historic villages provide endless inspiration—while honing your artistic craft.
The complete workshop package includes instruction and lodging in a well-situated coastal setting overlooking the Amalfi region. Some cultural site entry fees are included. Meals are not included, but the lodging features access to kitchen facilities for those who wish to prepare and share meals.

Please be sure to secure your lodging with a $1,000 deposit by February 6, 2026.
The deposit can be paid to Jerry Sumpter by check or Venmo and will be applied toward lodging expenses.
In some cases, Vrbo or local rental and cleaning fees are requested on site. These fees are typically quite modest and, when applicable, are shared among participants.
For those reserving a private room, an additional $250 is due prior to departure. (Please be aware that travel, meals/optional museum entry fees are not included.)

Daily painting opportunities and individual mentoring with a focus on alla prima and plein air techniques. The instructor will paint alongside students each day, offering real-time demonstrations and guidance.
